Just an FYI for members, Webkinz World has recently announced increased the base resolution of its site to 1024 x 768. What this means is the following…
If Webkinz World currently fits on your screen, no change is necessary…
However, if the site’s content does not fit, you need to change your resolution in Windows. Detailed instructions are provided on Webkinz.com, Bulletinz Section.
I can’t get the reformatted screen to come up completely on my computer and I followed the instructions about changing the resolution. Any other suggestions?
When you changed the resolution in Windows, your Windows desktop got smaller right? The reason I as is that sometimes when you change the resolution it asks if you like to keep the changes — if you don’t do anything, the resolution will switch back to the previous setting automatically…
I am using Windows XP and I tried screen resolutions 1024×768 and 1152×864. I restarted Windows both times and everything got smaller, but Webkinz still does not fit. I can’t use it because too much is chopped off. What should I try next?
I am having a problem viewing Webkinz world, too. I followed the directions for changing the screen resolution, I “applied” the new settings, and I am still having problems. When I go to webkinz.com I log into a smaller screen. When I select longin, a new smaller screen pops up. Is this connected to the problem? Because the initial screen I can see perfectly fine. I seem to have the problem when the new screen pops up.
Try refreshing your web browser by doing the following:
Shift-Refresh (refresh button is at the top of the browser)
-or-
Just press Control+F5

I have the same problem, and not just on my computer. We’ve tried several different computers, changed the resolution (bigger, smaller, and everything in between), and nothing. Restarted the computers several times, nada. The main screen comes up ok, but after you log on, the dock and status at the bottom is cut off. I tried to send an email to WKW but the right side of the window is cut off enough that you can’t see the topic for the appropriate item. Everything used to fit just fine.
La, does holding down the “Ctrl” key while pressing the “F5″ key make any difference?
One more thing, try doing this on the page before you login to WW… at http://www.webkinz.com — If this still doesn’t stop the page from being cut off, try clearing your web browser’s cache as described in a recent post.

i entered the webkinz beauty pagent in the tournament arena and 5,000 people have joined. But i have been staring at the same screen for 35 minutes. the contest was supposed to start at 3:00 and its 3:34. this is my first time entering. it now shows the contest already started and i was not in it. what happend and how do i participate in a contest?
